RCP At A Glance
In late 1974, Parañaque was the municipality with the fastest growing population in the metropolitan area. This led a group of men who were with the big industrial firms along South Superhighway or are residing in the numerous subdivisions to establish a new service organization. Thus was born the Rotary Club of Parañaque.
Starting from a club of 29 members in 1974, RCP has grown to what is now one of the most successful clubs in the district having launched many outstanding community projects such as the Cleft Lip and Palate (CLP) Project, its two Rotary Village Corps, and the Microcredit Project
Grain of Salt
President's Report
Hi, RCPians and Anns, our traditional and sentimental newsletter – the “Grain of Salt” is back (at least for this Rotary Year). The next 11 issues or so are dedicated to Members and Anns (who prefer the feel and smell of old fashioned paper and ink), who want to read the articles and look at the pictures while cruising in traffic, drinking coffee, or just idling around in their luxurious surroundings.
But, for computer savvy, (and feeling young) Rotarians who prefer the hi-tech version, you may still log on to our website - www.rc-paranaque.org, courtesy of our computer guru PP Fidel Yuboco. There, you will see all pictures in full and vivid color.
So, to get the ball rolling, let us bond together again as one big RCP Family and tackle all the projects, the programs and the challenges of “Making Dreams Real” by being involved and proving to all that WE ARE ALL ROTARIANS IN THOUGHT AND IN DEED.
